1God LORD, Lord, lords, How many LORDs Are there?

LORD, Lord, lords, How many LORDs Are there?
"The Lord said to my Lord...." -Acts 2:35

1Corinthians 8:5-6 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)

But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Problem.
We read an array of "lord" in our Bibles, and in some translations, notably the King James, "LORD" was used in place of YHVH, aka YaHWeH, aka Jehovah.

As a young believer I wondered about "LORD" and various names used for GOD, especially in the Old Testament. We begin with the "LORD GOD", in Genesis.

Here is the first mention of the LORD GOD: Genesis 2:4
These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.

In 531 verses, 545 times, the LORD GOD is used, HE is the Lord God of Abraham, LORD GOD of hosts, LORD GOD of Israel, I am the LORD THY GOD, etc
296 times in 264 verses "the LORD THY GOD" is used, and 7 times more in the New Testament.
The LORD OUR GOD is used 99 times in 96And this famous verse: Deuteronomy 6:4
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.

The LORD OUR GOD is used 99x in the entire Bible, in 96 verses, with 93 Old Testament uses.

It is very apparent that Jesus is not the "LORD GOD" who names Himself "I AM YaHWeH <Yehovah) GOD Almighty", and HE declares Himself as ONE.

And Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord. Mark 12:29

Summary: ONE is numerically one, God "alone". "HE", "I", "ME".

NEXT: "lord".

Again in the Old Testament, "lord" is a title of honor, respect, superiority, a master, employer, ruler, king. Many people including prophets and kings were addressed as "lord",
not because they were God, or being worshipped as God, but because of their position.

Sarah called Abraham "lord":
Gen. 18:12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I am old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?”

Genesis 32:18 Esau is called "lord" by Jacob.
‘They are thy servant Jacob’s. It is a present sent to my lord Esau;
2Kings 2:19, Elisha. "
And the men of the city said unto Elisha, “Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord sees"
1Kings 1:24 King David.
And Nathan said, “My lord, O king, hast thou said, ‘Adonijah shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne’?

"lord" in the Old Testament is often "adon": meaning to rule; sovereign, that is, controller (human or divine): - lord, master, owner.

"Jesus is LORD or Lord?

The SIMPLE TRUTH IS:
THE LORD (Yehovah, aka GOD the Father),
begat a son, the man child, Jesus of Nazareth, in the womb of Mary,
And GOD "made this Jesus "both lord and Christ." Acts 2:36
