Deconstructing Church Part 5: "Leave or Stay?"

Hebrews 13:11-13
For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside the camp.
So, let us go out to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach.
-rory moore

In the previous posts, 1-4, we looked at what has been taught and practiced in the Institutions of man-organized Christianity, and how they diverge from scripture.

I need to state clearly that I am *not* anti-church, anti-pastors, or against people that attend. After-all, I still suggest and send people to them with a caveat to ask GOD and go where HE WILLS. Most of us just went or church-shopped.

You may have needs met there, or GOD send you for a purpose; to be trained, to discern, to share, to love others, or hear something He desires to communicate to you there.
We sojourned in it for 24 years.

Institutional Christianity will teach you good things and also many errors and un-scriptural traditions and rituals, flat out error, and mis-direct your own gifts, calling and identity in Christ.

When you mis-identify as a Pentecostal, Charismatic, Baptist, Catholic, or another 501c3 church-corporation, you have unknowingly become part of the body of the harlot, and we note that ALL of Jesus' own disciples came out of the harlot of Israel.

BUT unless you pray about these, it is GOD that must lead you out and not because of malice, un-forgiveness, or cause hurt to others.

Let's next look at the Hebrews passage now, there is some amazing wisdom...

Leave or stay?
Hebrews 13:11-13
For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside the camp.
So, let us go out to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach.

This draws from the Old Testament sacrifices in which the High Priest, once a year on Rosh Hashanah/ The High Holy Day of Atonement, sprinkled animal blood on the ark of the Covenant, within the Holy of Holys located within the temple.
The flesh of the animals was burned by fire outside of the temple building walls, and was viewed with revulsion.  The writer then gives us leave to go "outside the camp".

What was the sacrifice? -The flesh of the beasts.
What was "the camp"?   -The religious establishment and institution of Judaism with its' sects, divisions, hierarchy, error, and traditions of men.

What often happens when we go "outside the camp" of Institutional Christianity with its' sects, divisions, hierarchy, error, and traditions.
But when we seek to follow and obey the Lord as HIS disciple, our flesh enters the process of sanctification (death to self), as our offering for sin, and our High Priest, Jesus Christ, applies His sacrificial blood to atone for our sin. The "ark" of our covenant is in Christ.

The scriptures are the terms of His Covenant.
Note Jesus is "outside the camp" of religious dogma and tradition. And going to Him in this way often brings the reproach of family, church goers, and religious folks upon those that go to Him "outside the camp".
The "reproach" that Christ bore was rejection, accusation, even hate.  When He went to “church”, called a synagogue, after He began his ministry, they attempted to kill him.

But "outside the camp" is a temple "not made with hands" and also an "abiding city" called "Jerusalem from above".
That is the City we seek.
God bless you.

De-constructing Church part 4 Trapped by the system

De-constructing Church part 4
-rory moore

If you are reading these, does it surprise you that the typical church model, a building centered, hierarchy-structured organization, Incorporated, centrally-directed from a headquarters, or run by a family, run by a Corporate Board, or ruled by a Titled individual are ALL foreign to God's Word?

Does it mean everybody that is part of that lost or without Christ? ==>>> An emphatic NO! is the answer to that.

-BUT the confusion, conflicting doctrines, abuse, and idolatry with men WILL hinder, tend to bondage, and keep us from growing in the grace and knowledge of God and His Son Christ Jesus.
... and that's a fact.

The ***system*** will mis-direct much of your dedication to the Lord, while hiding truth from you.. as it steals your time, finances, or chasing growth programs, fund raisers, or meaningless rituals.

And after time passes, you may find yourself years down the road wondering “what happened?” and is this church activity really what it is all about?

You have a lot of company.

De-constructing Church: WHY SO MANY CHURCHES? Part 3

De-constructing Church: Part 3
-rory moore

Why so many churches?
Is the purpose to gather people, into a bigger "barn" and become part of a 501c3 Corporation separated from other groups and calling itself by another Name?

Is the Sunday showcase a Christian practice found in Scripture?
=>> The efforts for most of us was trying to get people into our building (church), most of which are powerless assemblies in the confused, competitive, conflicting, and too often corrupt church world.

(=>> and NO, >> *not* all are corrupt) :( .

 Building people not buildings.
To whom it may concern. Dear brethren:
From Paul speaking to EPHESIAN BISHOPS from the congregation at Ephesus.

Acts 20:
34 You yourselves know that
๐Ÿ‘‰these hands (Paul's) ministered to my own needs
AND ๐Ÿ‘‰ to the men who were with me.
35)
In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner
๐Ÿ‘‰ you must help the weak
and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

The NLT renders:
35 And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard.
You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus:
‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Paul told them to edify God's PEOPLE nothing about a nice facility.

In Acts, the people gatherings were together in homes mostly, "house to house"), the disciples walked in love for one another and power.
Here is a good word from a godly man on this.

NOTE THE WORDS "ONE ANOTHER", these are only a few of the many examples.
1 Corinthians 11:33  So then, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.
1 Corinthians 12:25 so that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.
1 Corinthians 16:20  All the brethren greet you. Greet *one another* with a holy kiss.
2 Corinthians 13:12  Greet *one another* with a holy kiss.
Galatians 5:13 For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh,
*but through love serve one another.*
Galatians 5:15  But if you bite and devour *one another*, take care that you are not consumed by one another.

A LOT of what we call "church" came from pagan, Roman religious life.

De-Constructing the "church", MEET WHERE? Part 2

De-Constructing the "church", Part 2
-rory moore

... Mat. 16:18 and the word church" is a hard word to "de-program" from. Jesus never taught it.
He taught "ekklesia", i.e. a gathering and congregation. To assemble.

By design and deception, we are conditioned to think of congregations in a church building as a "church".

But Jesus had taught them in Matthew 18:20 For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.
If that is true, and it is, then we might begin to rethink why a building, a mortgage, a 501c3, a staff, departments, Denomination organization, choir, fund-raising, remodels, and do a LOT of the typical trappings that we ourselves supported, did, and were part of for 24 years. Until the Lord called us out.

Please re-read the verse in Matthew until you grasp the simplicity.

Is there then any wonder that much of Jesus' own ministry took place in homes, outdoors, or in public?

-without all the "stuff" we *think* is desirable for a church service?
-in fact, study ACTS and see if YOU can find a "church service".

PLEASE, remember the disciples were Spirit-filled, preached the gospel, established congregations, saw thousands converted, prayed together, gathered together, baptized people, gave and shared of their substance, ordained elders, resolved doctrine matters, re-visited congregations they had birthed..
and consider what man has done in the name of "church" today..

The FACTS ARE IN ACTS.  There is a pattern to the "house"
In PART 3 (very short) you will find out more interesting things.

De-Constructing "Church", The Building is a Church? Part 1

De-Constructing "Church", Part 1
๐Ÿ‘‰"I will build MY ***CHURCH?***? (Mat. 16)
-rory moore

Church is a hard word to "de-program" from, as I am likewise processing my own indoctrination from a building to a people congregation, and what Christ had in mind.
Did He really envision buildings with various Names, steeples, impressive architecture, or even the glitzy lights and smoke that enhance the modern "church" experience?

With 2,000 years of building tradition and the typical assembly, upon experiencing growth, usually and quickly thinks "we need a building". The building becomes the center, identity, and gathering place of an assembly, and an institution with a new name and identity is created.

But the history of the word "church" is from pagan architecture, not scripture,
๐Ÿ‘‰ thus Jesus did not speak of "church" in terms of a building, nor did the disciples.
"Church" is a term MIS-translated by the KJV/Roman-influenced translators, and "synagogues" were buildings the Jews built to assemble in, however God never told them to build them.

EKKLESIA (mis-translated as "church":
I looked into it, it is a feminine noun, used 111 times.
"Definition:
-a gathering of citizens called out from their homes into some public place,
-an assembly

-an assembly of the people convened at the public place of the council for the purpose of deliberating in the assembly of the Israelites
-any gathering or throng of men assembled by chance,
in a Christian sense
-an assembly of Christians gathered for worship in a religious meeting

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘‰ -a company of Christian, or of those who, hoping for eternal salvation through Jesus Christ, observe their own religious rites, hold their own religious meetings, and manage their own affairs, according to regulations prescribed for the body for order's sake

-the whole body of Christians scattered throughout the earth
-the assembly of faithful Christians already dead and received into heaven"
-source:
https://www.biblestudytools.com/lexicons/greek/nas/ekklesia.html

As the gospel spread in Acts, not one church building was mentioned although they often met in homes and in public, and Paul often went into the synagogues to preach to un-converted Jews the message who Jesus is:

Acts 9: 20 and immediately he (Paul) began to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, saying, “He is the Son of God......22) Jesus is the Christ".

"church" is a term MIS-translated by the KJV/Roman-influenced translators, and "synagogues" were buildings the Jews built to assemble in, but God never told them to build.

๐Ÿ‘‰It was David and Solomon, who initiated a temple building in Jerusalem, but the LORD had directed a mobile tabernacle.
2 Sam. **7** is fascinating with that in mind, and you may want to read that..
So we forward to ACTS 7, and here is Stephen saying:
46 David found favor in God’s sight, and asked that he might find a dwelling place for the God of Jacob. 47 But it was Solomon who built a house for Him.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘‰48 However, the Most High does not dwell in houses made by human hands; as the prophet says:
49 ‘Heaven is My throne, And earth is the footstool of My feet;
๐Ÿ‘‰ What kind of house will you build for Me?’ says the Lord, ‘Or what place is there for My repose?
50 ‘Was it not My hand which made all these things?’
Since God does *not* need or live in a building, nor did Jesus direct His followers to build them, WHAT else might we find regarding the words "church", "tabernacle", "house", and "temple???
More truth about church vs ekklesia here

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘‰  In Part 2 you will see....."the Most High does not dwell in houses made by human hands; as the prophet says"... as we work to de-construct what man has built.

Revealed: Hidden Manna, a White Stone, a New Name?

Hidden manna? A white stone? a new name?

In Revelation chapters 2 and 3,  I would share as the Lord grants understanding of the hidden manna found in the scripture.  The Lord has hidden many secrets within His Word and He loves to reveals them to us.

"He reveals the deep and secret things"
When a truth is revealed it becomes simple and obvious.  I puzzled for many years by some of the sayings to the churches but the mysterious language of the Revelation is not a mystery to God who gave it
The passage in Revelation 2 that follows baffled me for many years.  Then one day the Lord opened my understanding of...

Hidden Manna, a White Stonea New NAME

Rev. 2: 17   He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
To him that overcomes, to him will I give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows except he that receives it.

What the Spirit says
is revealed by Holy Spirit-taught revelation.
John 14:26  "But the Comforter, even the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things"

and again
1Jn2:27  And as for you, the anointing which ye received of him abides in you,
and you do not need that any one teach you; but as his anointing teaches you
               concerning all, and is true
, and is no lie, and even as it taught you....

Spiritual truths are hidden from carnal eyes and understanding.
The religious leadership of Jesus' day were declared spiritually blind by the Lord, and so were those who put their trust in them.

He spoke to them in parables but to His disciples He said this in Matthew 16:17
And Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed are you, Simon (Peter):
for flesh and blood has not revealed it to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

-Accurate revelation will always agree and be witnessed by the scriptures in multiple places.

"To him that overcomes..."
What must they "overcome" to eat of the "hidden manna", i.e. the hidden Word of Truth?

Within the passage itself is the answer and according to other passages such as Rev. 18:4, God's people must separate from the harlot system that calls itself Christian and is headed by "false apostles"  (i.e. "messengers"), which in the previous verses are referred to as "the  Nicolaitane error". -the clergy system that rules over God's people)

That is the false church government,  the clergy over laity ruler-ship),
-and the the Balaam ministry which sells its' ministry services as Balaam did.
This was shown in previous verses in Revelation 2: 2,6,14 , and other places such as 2 Peter 3:2-3 and in Jude.
In our day it is the 501c3 churches that "married" Caesar.

We overcome the ministry of the Nicolaitanes (clergy over laity),  and Jezebel, i.e., the manipulating-controlling-dominating leadership that asserts carnal authority over God's people as did the pharisees and clergy of Jesus' day through Titles, and mans devices as Jesus said.

As we overcome the typical church doctrines, creeds, statements of faith, and belief systems of our fathers traditions, God will open our eyes to behold "what the Spirit says to the congregations".

As long as we look at scripture through "lenses" of tradition learned in church, our spiritual vision will be obscured.
We exhort you to take those religious glasses off and pray a Luke 14:33 prayer..

So when you overcome the Nicolaitane error and doctrine Jesus "hates", you are on your way to understanding God's Word as the Holy Spirit teaches.
As Paul wrote in Galatians 1:12
For neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ
Paul did not go to church. He went to God in prayer and study.

A personal example was my own question about
"the deeds of the Nicolaitanes which I hate" in Rev. 2:6.
For 25 years I always wondered what that was.
After all, if Jesus "hated" it, I certainly did not want to be doing that!
But what was it?

One day the Lord directed me to read Revelation 2, and as I read Christ's words about the "Nicolaitane error", I wondered yet again what it meant.

Suddenly the Lord imparted understanding and I saw it revealed and the Nicolaitanes were all through the scriptures! One word best says it. "Clergy".

They were the ones who persecuted Jesus.

King Saul was an early prototype. (leaders being elevated).
Diotrephes in 3John was one
Paul warned of them in Acts 20:33-35.
It all became clear the most common form of church government is the Nicolaitane error.

Jesus is not the denominational, sectarian church version presented by titled church officials like "Reverend", "Pastor", "Apostle", "Rabbi", and a dozen other titles worn by men and women in the church system, collectively known as "the Clergy" which rules the laity (people).

A white stone:
What does that "hidden manna" reveal?
Jeus said they would receive a "white stone".

This is the pure, unleavened Jesus of the scripture.

"The Stone that the builders rejected who is become the Head of the corner". Acts 4:11
This is the stone which was set at nought of you (the apostate) builders, which is become the head of the corner."
-set at aside by the builders then, and now, who substitute their version of Jesus as they built their churches, organizations, and personal ministries within Nicolaitane-run churches.

The "white stone" is the revelation of Jesus, and not what most of Christianity superimposes over God's Word.
How can we say that?
As you look at the "Not In Scripture List" on our web page, you will see many examples.
a NEW name written:

The "new name written"  was there all the time; it was veiled by religion.
It is the Pure Jesus  (the white stone) of the "hidden manna" of the Word of God "that which is written".  -in the scriptures.

Can "another Jesus slip in through the church door?

2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached.
Not every "Jesus" preached is The "White Stone" Jesus that Paul preached and the writer John knew!

Every sect an denomination presents Jesus as they see Him.

Believe it or not, none of these are in scripture.

-"God incarnate"
-"The deity of Christ"
 -“the Holy Trinity”
-Three offices, God the Son, “God in three persons”, fully God fully man”, “triune”, “dual nature” “God robed in flesh”, “God incarnate”. "God became a man", Divine Son”, “God-man”, “man God”.

Shocked?
Then please see "
This Jesus" that was preached by His disciples in Acts.

"which no one *knows but he that receives it"
How do you receive that?
As we "renounce all that you have" in order to become HIS disciple, as Jesus taught in Luke 14:33, it even includes our church doctrine.
This is how we empty of ourselves in surrendering "all that we have" and believe in order for the Lord to renew our minds in His Word

Every formula, every man made list, creed, and statement no matter how seemingly important.  And yes, it takes time to allow God to purge out of us the "seed" (words) of men.. I still find this action of the Holy Spirit working in me.

Leaders will always make excuses for their religious traditions as Jesus said in Mark 7:8
Ye leave the commandment of God, and hold fast the tradition of men.

Revelation is to recognize the Pure Jesus of the Hidden Manna after overcoming the Nicolaitane error and the preach-for-reward ministry!
"
Knowing" the "new name", is as Peter received by revelation by the Spirit of God, as it is not found in repeating the syllables "Jesus" or a variant.

*knoweth: (G1097
A prolonged primary verb; to "know" (absolutely), in a great variety of applications and with many implications, with others not thus clearly expressed):  perceive, be resolved, be sure, understand.)
Now that you
know, here is the passage in Revelation:
11   He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
He that overcomes shall not be hurt of the second death.

12   and to the angel of the church in Pergamum write
These things says he that hath the sharp two-edged sword:

13   I know where you dwell, even where Satan`s throne is (satan rules in the heart of the natural, carnal-minded man)  and thou hold fast my name,
and did not deny my faith, even in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one,
who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

14   But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there some that hold
the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumblingblock
        before the children of Israel,
to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit fornication.

15   So have you also some that hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans in like manner.
16   Repent therefore; or else I come to thee quickly, and I will make war against them
with the sword of my mouth.

17    He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

To him that overcomes, to him will I give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and upon the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he that receives it.

The LORD said to my Lord

From the 1God Series: LORD and Lord
by rory moore

"WHO are you Lord?"
Are you CURIOUS about kurios?
What is the meaning of "Lord" in the New Testament?
Some think it means "GOD". -well, sort of maybe not so, although sometimes it is applied to the Father...

Let's look closer.

Peter said in Acts 2:36
Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain
=>> that GOD has made him BOTH Lord and Christ<<==,
THIS JESUS whom you crucified.”

The English translated word is "Lord" was translated from the Greek "kurios”.
Definition: Noun, masculine.

--he to whom a person or thing belongs, about which he has power of deciding; master, lord
-the possessor and disposer of a thing
-the owner; one who has control of the person, the master
in the state: the sovereign, prince, chief, the Roman emperor
-is a title of honor expressive of respect and reverence, with which servants greet their master
this title is given to: the Messiah.

It is also applied to men, employers (bosses) as in Col. 3:22
Colossians 3:22-24
22 Servants (employees), in all things obey those who are your **masters** on earth, not with external service, as those who merely please men, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the ***Lord***.

The SAME WORD used in both places and applied to men and the Savior.

I have seen people in confusion over the word "Lord" and some confuse it with GOD's name in the Old Testament "LORD" which was translated from YHVH.
God the Father is the LORD (YHVH) and some attempt to make Jesus the Father by confusing "LORD (YHVH) and "Lord".

A passage that illustrates what I am saying was given in Ps. 110:1
The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

And quoted by Jesus:
Matthew 22:44 The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Again by Peter in Acts 2:
Acts 2:34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saidhimself, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

Because "THE LORD" in the original Psalm is GOD, ( YHVH, aka LORD, aka JeHoVaH aka YaHWeH).
We now see who the GOD and Father of our "Lord" Jesus is, and this is consistent with other Old Testament quotes in the NEW Testament.

Here are three examples referring to THE LORD GOD:

2 Corinthians 6:18 And will be a Father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says ***The Lord Almighty.***

Hebrews 8:8 For finding fault with them, he said, Behold, the days come, says the ***Lord***, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel..

This verse people often confuse in ascribing Jesus the Lord, as "God Almighty":
Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, says the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

But John was not confused when he SAW in Revelation 4:
2
Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.
Rev 4:8 "Holy, holy, holy, ***Lord God Almighty***, Who was and is and is to come!"
and continues:
Revelation 5:5 And I saw in the right hand of HIM that sat on the throne a book written.
vs  <there> stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
7 And he (the LAMB slain) came and took the book out of the right hand of HIM (The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY)  that sat upon the throne.

Back to Acts and Peter preaching Jesus:
The Lord <LORD/YHVH>, made him (Jesus), both Lord (kurios) and Christ. Acts 2:36

The Lord GOD made Jesus both ruler and Messiah. (Lord and Christ).

I am not trying to convince you but rather I would encourage you to be willing to look and consider the above.
Once we accept there is a distinction, we can look at who Jesus is when Spirit-filled Peter spoke to the people in Jerusalem that day.

GOD, Gods, god, judges What's an eloheim?

GOD, Gods, god, judges ©

Let’s deal with a stumbling block over the word “GOD”.
-rory moore

This will be the most complex chapter from my forthcoming book because we must grasp an understanding of words from the original language.
Hebrew and Greek words may have different or more complex meaning than our English translations, and translators must often choose between which definition is used in our English Bible.

For instance, to English-speaking people, “GOD” is a simple word evoking the idea of God in heaven. But to Hebrews in scripture “God” was/is YHWH, The self-existing, eternal, infinite, One LORD GOD.

Deuteronomy 6:4 “hear o Israel, the LORD <YHWH> our GOD, is ONE Lord.”  And YHWH is the unquestionable, undivided, Almighty, and supreme God.
Yet we find “gods” and even men likened to or called “God” or “Gods”, and  human judges called “gods”, ALL derived from the exact same Hebrew word!

How do we know this word “God” can be applied to humans?

-Because in scripture it IS applied to men
-Remember the scripture was written in primarily Hebrew and Greek, so we are reading a translation into our language. In the Hebrew and Greek languages, “GOD” is translated from Hebrew “Eloheim” and “Theos” is the New Testament Greek respectively.

An example is Genesis 1 is “In the beginning, GOD <i.e. Eloheim> created the heavens and the earth”.  2,601 times “eloheim”, is rendered: “God” “Gods”, “judges”, or goddess, in the KJV.

Strong’s Concordance defines:
I.
A.                rulers, judges
B.                 divine ones
C.                 angels
D.                gods
II. (plural intensive, singular meaning)
A.        god, goddess
B.        A. godlike one
C.        works or special possessions of God
D.        the (true) God
E.         God

III. Definition:
สผฤ•lรดhรฎym, plural of H433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used of the supreme God; occasionally applied to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative: angels, God (gods) (-dess, -ly), great, judges, mighty.

In Deuteronomy 10:17 the LORD your *God is the *God of *gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God. *Eloheim of eloheim.
In Mark 12:29; Jesus answered, The first command is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord (YHWH) our God (Eloheim-Theos), the Lord (YHWH)  is one, and to love Him... ( -He and his audience likely read the Hebrew scriptures.)
Both Eloheim (and “theos” in the New Testament) are generic for “God” in our English language. Jesus in quoting Deut. 6:4 in the Greek New Testament shows they are equated.

YHWH is One, The Almighty God of Gods, the Eternal, self-existing, infinite, all-wise, transcendent One with an image and a throne that the witnesses saw.
He is the only God, and Father of Jesus Christ. See their reports

GOD is Eloheim from Strong’s: H430
Gods in the ordinary sense;
of the Supreme God; occasionally applied by deference to magistrates; and sometimes as superlative: -angels, God (gods)
(-dess,), great, judges mighty.

CONTEXT determines the meaning.

Now let’s look at Isaiah 9:6 His name shall be called the mighty GOD
English can bring confusion as our minds equate the passage, which is obviously a prophecy of the coming Christ Jesus, as GOD. But none of the preachers in Acts, nor Jesus Himself ever said Jesus is The God of heaven, God of Gods, God of the fathers, or YHWH. They could have in Acts as they told people who Jesus is, IF Jesus is GOD.

In Isaiah 9:6 a child born would have a name called mighty God. This “child born” would also be revealed as “a man of sorrows” and “My servant” in Isaiah 53.

What kind of “mighty God” could a man be
In Isaiah 9:6 "mighty god" is:
H410  ืֵืœ 'êl  shortened from *H352;
strength; as adjective mighty; especially the Almighty
(but used also of any deity): - God (god), goodly, great, idol, might (-y one), power, strong. Compare names in “-el.”
Total KJV occurrences: 242.

el is neither eloheim or YHVH (LORD). Context determines the meaning.

*H352  it is derived from is:  'ayil
properly strength; hence anything strong; specifically a chief (politically); also a ram (from his strength); a pilaster (as a strong support); an oak or other strong tree: - mighty (man), lintel, oak, post, ram, tree.
Total KJV occurrences: 185

-From “eloheim” in the Hebrew meaning: (very) great, judges, mighty, magistrates”.
Who will judge the world?
Paul testified this in Acts 17:31  because HE (GOD) has fixed a day in which HE (GOD) will judge the world in righteousness through a Man (JESUS) whom HE (GOD) has appointed having furnished proof to all men by raising Him (Jesus) from the dead.”

Who is highly exalted, exercises all power and authority in heaven and earth?

JESUS
! And in this he IS the mighty God, Judge, Magistrate, our high priest, KING OF KINGS.
Consistently Jesus said the rulers of Israel were also “eloheim” as He quoted Psalm 82 “ye are GODS” (eloheim).
-The “gods” of Psalm 82 are simply MEN who, by God’s sovereignty, are permitted to rule over other men, aka, “magistrates”.

Some may disagree, but looking at the references from a relative these facts emerge:
In the Old Testament Strong’s #H430-elohim occurs 2,601 times.
11     (0.42%) refer to humans either directly or indirectly.
5       (0.19%) are miscellaneous.
235   (9.03%) refer to idols/false gods.
2350 (90.34%) refer to God, the creator and so much more.

Elohim occurs 811 times in the Pentateuch, 736 times (90.75%) it refers to God, and 75 times (9.25%) it does not refer to God.

John 10:34 Jesus answered them, “Has it not been written in your Law, ‘I said, you are gods’? (35)  If He (God) called them gods, to whom the word of God came…..

This same “eloheim,” in Ps. 82:6, is also translated asjudges” in the Old Testament. An example of this is found in Exodus 21:6, “his master shall bring him to the judges …”
And Exodus 22:8  “If the thief is not found, then the master of the house shall be brought to the *judges …”,  (*the eloheim.)
This is why Jesus is eloheim (God) because GOD (The Father) has given him authority to judge.

In the New Testament, the Greek word “theos” carries the same understanding and is used in the same manner.

Here are two examples:
Acts 12:22 The people kept crying out, “The voice of a god (theos,-divine one) and not of a man!”
1Cor 8:5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven OR IN EARTH, (as there be many gods, and many lords
but to us there is but ONE GOD, THE FATHER, and ONE Lord Jesus.

The GOD and Father of Jesus Christ is also the generic “Theos” so "eloheim” and context helps us better understand which version of “God” is spoken of.

With this in mind, we will resolve the confusion of multiple passages ascribing the word translated as “God” to Christ who has “His God.
Revelation 1:6 and he (Jesus) made us… to be priests to his GOD and Father; to him be the glory and the dominion for ever and ever.

Isaiah 9:6. ..his name shall be called…. The mighty God..
Titus 2:13
looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.
Understanding God and God in Hebrews chapter 1 may now be easier to understand how “God” is used.
5 For to which of the angels did He (GOD-YHWH/ Theos) ever say,
You are My Son, Today I have begotten You
And again,
“I
will be a Father to Him And He shall be a Son to Me”?
:6  And when He (GOD-YHWH/Eloheim/Theos) again brings the firstborn into the world, He (GOD-YHWH/Theos) says
And let all the angels of God worship Him.”
:8 But of the Son He says,
Your throne, O God (i.e. theos (eloheim) mighty one, judge, magistrate), is forever and ever, And the righteous scepter is the scepter of His kingdom.
You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God (YHWH/Theos), Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness above Your companions.”

These are places Jesus Christ is referenced and the word “God” is in context:
-John 1:1 In the beginning was the *word (*means something said/ thought expressed ), and the word (what God said) was with God (Eloheim/TheosYHWH),
and the word (what God said) was God (Eloheim/ Theos).
(14 And the word (something God said) became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

-Titus 2:13 looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus.
-Hebrews 1:8 But of the Son He says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, And the righteous scepter is the scepter of His kingdom.

John 20:28 Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” Thomas was not calling Jesus YHWH or “Father” when he used “Lord”.
The word “God” that Thomas likely used is “theos”, “Lord” is “”kurios,
meaning “master”.

-His words could refer to the One True God that Jesus referred to in the same chapter, or as an exclamation to God in heaven, (as we ourselves do), or he could have said “GOD!” with understanding from his culture that meant “God” as an exalted man, a mighty one, ruler, king, magistrate,  “potentate”.

And in John 20, another statement is made that must be reconciled with Thomas’ exclamation.
(17 Jesus *said to her, “Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brethren and sayI ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.’”

Once we grasp that a man or men may be called “God” in the sense of the meaning of eloheim and theos as a ruler, judge, mighty one, the English word confusion is resolved because the same word is translated in different terms.

We see the word “God” our mind goes to God in heaven, but it is not always so.
The same word “eloheim” is used as:
“In the beginning GOD created…”
“ye are Gods
“he shall appear before the judges..”
“his name shall be called the mighty God
“Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians”
Again defined:
Gods in the ordinary sense; of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates (judges-rulers); and sometimes as a superlative: -angels, exceeding, God (gods) (-dess, -ly),  (very) great, judges, mighty.

Rather than diving into all the “BUT’s”, please read "I SAW", where the prophets saw by vision the heavenly throne and image.
Then apply the witness testimonies to passages such as John 1, John 8, etc. and ask the Lord to reconcile them.  The One on the throne who spoke and expressed His words and thought, “In the beginning…”

You may begin to realize how we erred in our conclusions and in so doing, made  scripture say something it does not. Acts confirms what the disciples testified.  Those Jewish writers that delivered the scriptures understood the Hebrew word ”eloheim” (i.e. “God”), different than we do.

An example is the word “truck”. In general terms it may be an 18 wheeled diesel tractor trailer, a pickup, a  4-wheel drive truck, a dump truck, a standard 2-wheel drive, a flat bed, a tow truck, or a tiny old Datsun.  They are ALL “trucks”.
But when specifying “my truck is a silver Toyota Tundra Crew cab 2-wheel drive”,
context makes clear which kind of truck.

In like manner, “God” (eloheim-theos) is understood by the Hebrew writers as a broad term that becomes clear in context when applied to either The LORD God, the Supreme Eternal, glorious Father, or to men, goddess, judges, magistrates, rulers, and the exalted man, the Lord Christ Jesus.

Wherefore GOD has made this same Jesus BOTH LORD AND CHRIST”. -Peter in Acts 2.

Let’s touch on John 1:1 “in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God.
God's word was “with” God, not as a person, but the Father's eternal wisdom, thought, and expression.  In the beginning God spoke, His word and His thought-expression was the beginning of all creation.

Gen. 1: and GOD **said**:  LET THER BE…”.
Thus Jesus, the “last Adam”, being foreknown of God, as "the Lamb slain *from the foundation of the world* was, in the fullness of time manifested. The word (what God said) conceived and made the child, the "last Adam", our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God..
1 Peter 1:20 For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you.

As with us: Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world.

And again, Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Do you see Christ was “foreknown” and “slain” from before the foundation of the world? -not as a second God-person, but as God’s eternal “foreknowledge”?

And God’s works were finished before the world’s foundation? “although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.”

Here is a clincher in John 17:24 : that they may behold my glory, which You have given me: for You loved me before the foundation of the world. Again this is witnessed by the visions in chapter 12 of One “God ALONE”.
