1God Acts 4 Prayer to GOD Through the Name of Jesus

 

There is so much church-instigated confusion regarding a simple thing like prayer.
Some churches pray repetitious phrases and mindless words.
Some use the time clock method, 2 minutes/ 15 minutes/ 1 hour etc.
Some pray hoping if they ask enough times that will get through.
Some depend on how many people they can enlist to help and agree in hope God will here somebody.
Some depend on the Pastor's prayer, others not so much.
Many don't know who to pray to, GOD, Jesus, saints, Mary, Mecca, Yahweh, Jehovah, I AM, Yeshua, Yahwuah, and a dozen more variants.

But in the Book of Acts, immediately following the four gospels, Jesus had ascended up, in his words, 
 to "MY GOD AND YOUR GOD" Jn 20:17/ Acts 1:10, and they watched as he went up.

WHO did the disciples pray to, as they continued together in prayer as the narrative continued?

This is why we may learn from them and so I defer to ACTS for the facts.
Here the first prayer in Acts is:
And they prayed and said, “Thou, Lord, who knows the hearts of all men, show us which of these two Thou has chosen..
Peter went on in Acts 2 to preach that "Jesus Christ of Nazareth, a MAN approved of God..... " was  

They knew Jesus is not God, and this is shown by their prayer in Acts 4 as they prayed:

Acts 4: 24 And when they heard this, they lifted up their voice
𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝, “𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝, 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 and the sea and all that is in them,

25 who by the mouth of Thy servant David had said, ‘Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?  26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together
👉against the Lord <i.e. GOD, vs. 24>,

🎯AND against HIS Christ.’
 27 For truly against Thy holy child Jesus, whom YOU have anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, had gathered together 28 to do whatsoever Thy hand and Thy counsel determined before to be done.

29 And now, Lord, behold their threatening's, and grant to Thy servants that with all boldness they may speak Thy Word, 30 by stretching forth Thine hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of 🎯Thy holy child Jesus.”

31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together;
and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost.

Peter had days before preached CHRIST to the Jews, that Jesus was "a MAN approved of God". Acts 2:22. In Acts 13:38 and 17:31 they were still declaring Jesus to be a "man",  and this was after his ascension TO God.

Does this sound like a prophecy of a man that is GOD?

Psalm 22:15-17  My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and My tongue cleaves to My jaws; and 🎯YOU have brought  🎯Me into the dust of death.
  16 For dogs have surrounded Me; the assembly of the wicked have enclosed Me; they pierced My hands and My feet. 17 I can count all My bones; they look and stare upon Me.

Isaiah 53 is also quoted as a direct Messianic passage.
The subject of that prophecy is about "a MAN of sorrows" who would be the sacrifice for sin.
There is nothing in Isaiah 53 to indicate the man is God, in fact, the passage shows the man and his relationship to his GOD. 

1God BY ONE SPIRIT the Promised Gift and a "New Thing"

The promised blessing of the Holy Spirit, but what is it? Who is it? How is it?

"And on My servants and on My handmaidens I will pour out in those days My Spirit, and they shall prophesy."

A few years back when I first realized the scripture said Jesus has a GOD, whom He called "MY GOD", I found 16 references for that. (see the John 20:17 example)

Still, it was a 2 year process to unlearn what I had believed, and my foundation in searching was my need of letting go of what the church versions of scripture did not say and-or especially what I THOUGHT it meant.

-In previous posts I said before how the Lord led me to search out the visions of God in heaven to see what the prophets "saw". Their words made it clear the ONE GOD is ONE. Alone. "He", "Me", "Him", "I", "Myself". They saw and said what they saw.

The One..

The prophets saw HIM, not a "them". "WHAT THEY SAW"

But this still created many "what about'?" questions. What about this verse, what about that verse? Confusion and conflicts result because we lack God's understanding of His Word. Yet He desires us to seek and to search for ourselves from His word.

Later, when studying the Book of Acts I saw who Jesus is, the Jesus the non-theologically leavened disciples knew and preached. This came through the words they preached as they gave witness and testimony who Jesus is. I realized they knew best what to tell the people who Jesus is so I focused on their words as they preached who Jesus is in the Book of Acts.

Their witness in Acts was plain and simple. (not one mention of a triune/ trinity/ 3 God persons was ever preached. Their words were true. The disciples in Acts were untainted by the countless church versions that we all suffered through trying to understand Jesus and The Father, and Holy Spirit.

I hope this will help answer some of your questions about the Holy Spirit as I had the same ones for many years....

1. Jesus in John 14 and 16 below, speaks of Himself in the third person, as He often did. Here are some examples:

"The son of man is come.."

""He that speaks to you is him".

"He that has the bride is the bridegroom".

Thus:

I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever”

17 even the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it sees <i.e. to recognize> Him not, neither knows Him.

But you <i.e. his apostles> KNOW HIM, for He dwells with you, and shall be in you.

-that "he" is the physical Jesus they knew that had been dwelling with them.

2. When Jesus spoke of "WHEN the Spirit of truth is come",

he was foretelling of his Spirit and God's Spirit coming as the "One Spirit" quoted below.

Remember the physical man, Jesus Christ said "I am the Way the Truth..." Jn 14:6 But after, -the "Spirit of truth" is his spirit, unlimited by time and space through God's Spirit.

-even though He spoke in this way as "the comforter".

"when He the Comforter is come.." <speaking of himself again in third person>

"I will not leave you comfortless, I WILL COME TO YOU".

-and this was not in His visible return.

Again we have his words John 14:18 but note the detail on his coming to you:

“If a man love Me, he will keep My words; and My Father will love him, and *We* will come to him and make *Our* abode with him."

3. here is the clincher. You will love it.

The phrase "Holy Spirit filled" has more for us than we knew. The exact phrase "filled with the Holy Spirit" is found *8* times in scripture.

*8* is the number symbolic of a "new beginning"!

But how could people be "filled with the Holy Spirit" before the Holy Spirit was given?

Luke 1:15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink, and he shall be 𝒇𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒚 𝑮𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒕 even from his mother’s womb.

Luke 1:41 And it came to pass, when Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was 𝒇𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒚 𝑮𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒕.

Luke 1:67 And his father Zacharias was 𝒇𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒚 𝑮𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒕 and prophesied.

??? We ask because of this in John 7:39

"the Spirit was not yet given because Jesus was not yet glorified".

What changed from those like Elizabeth and her unborn child John, being "filled with the Holy Spirit" and the Spirit "NOT YET GIVEN"?

JN 7:38 He that believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”

39 (But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believe in Him should receive;

for the Holy Ghost was not yet given because Jesus was not yet glorified!

HERE IS THE CHANGE:

It came after Jesus was raised and glorified,

Acts 2:4 And they were all 𝒇𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒚 𝑮𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒕 and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Now we have the fulfillment of the "we will come and make OUR abode with him".

GOD's SPIRIT and Christ's Spirit are the ONE SPIRIT:

Cor 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, (no separation of Christ and Father's Spirit).(Spirit baptism is not "accepting Christ", communion, or because someone goes forward.

-It is a full baptism of Christ's spirit and will produce fruits of His spirit.

( Most churches will say you have something you never got.)

Here is more showing us "by ONE Spirit":

Eph 2:18 for through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

Eph 4:4 There is one body and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

Summary:

The Holy, "One Spirit" is God and Christ undivided. Inseparable now.

Before Christ/ Pentecost, the Lord God  created creation, filled people, anointed people, and moved upon people.

-but that was not the Promise of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

Parabolic: Mark 8: 6…. And He took the seven loaves and gave thanks and broke, and gave to His disciples to set before them; and they set them before the people.
8 So they ate and were filled; and they took up of the broken meat that was left, seven baskets. 9 And those who had eaten were about four thousand. Can you see how did the 7 loaves symbolize what Jesus would later do in Acts 2? 😊
Before Christ and Pentecost, the Lord God created creation, filled people, anointed people, and moved upon people. -but that was not “the Promise of the Spirit”. See Acts 2, as Peter explained it. 😊
After Jesus glorification, God gives through Jesus, now “Lord of all”, the bread of Christ and gives his spirit it to all that seek Him to receive it.
Praise God, just as with the 7 loaves, He does so with His Spirit through Jesus Christ. After Jesus glorification, God broke the bread of Christ and gives his spirit it to all that seek Him to receive it, and He does so through Jesus Christ.

Acts 2:33 Therefore, being exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, He has shed forth this which you now see and hear... (they were speaking in tongues and prophesying). ("I will come unto you", "We will come and make our abode..") Gal. 4:6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, 
crying, Abba Father.

Peter said in Acts 2:17 ....this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel.

17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

18 And on My servants and on My handmaidens I will pour out in those days My Spirit, and they shall prophesy.

The Holy Spirit is not a mythical "third person", it is the Spirit of GOD and Christ, coming to us undivided and God does not separate Himself into three persons, which scripture never stated.

This is what Father spoke in Feb 2024:

"All that I say to you..

All that I do, *I DO THROUGH MY SON*.

Through Me, He IS WITH YOU AND IS IN YOU."

*After* Pentecost in Acts 2, the "new thing" God would do, He now brings the spirit <character, nature, authority, power etc.> of Jesus that we may be filled with and empowered to become sons of God.

Now I see how so many of us argued for their version of God the Father, His beloved son, Holy Ghost, and did so from our shallow letter traditions. trinity, oneness, JW's, Mormon, Catholic, etc. People repeat what they are told without being equipped by the Holy Spirit to discern tradition from truth.

-all from intellect and carnal traditions without revelation from Father.

THE GIFT HE WANTS TO GIVE AND FOR EVERYONE TO HAVE:

And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 10:45   And they of the circumcision that believed were amazed, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit. for they heard them speaking with tongues. -first evidence.

Acts 11:17: If then God gave to them (us gentiles) the like gift as he did also unto us, when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I, that I could withstand God?
Acts 19: he said to them, “Have YOU received the Holy Ghost, having believed?”

And they said, “We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Ghost.”

3 And he said to them, “to what then were you baptized?” They said, “Unto John’s baptism.” 4 Paul replied, “John truly baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe in Him who should come after him, that is, in Christ Jesus.”

5 When they heard this, they were (re) baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Ghost came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. (evidence)

Think of a glass, that's us. The Holy Spirit is water of life..
Many are an empty glass, and many empty attend church.

Some have but a teaspoon. There is room for 16ounces.

God wants us to be filled that others may drink. It is an unending fountain and the glass refilled many many times. As we are filled, there is evidence of power, authority, and fruit of His life.

It is a free gift, and does not require tithes, nor keeping church law, nor church membership, nor the many laws from the Old Testament.

It WILL: lead you to desire a closer walk with Jesus, a desire to tell others about Him, to feed on his Word for yourself, convict of personal sins and even change your views on many things.
It WILL empower you to be a witness, give you spiritual gifts to use to minister to others, and open your eyes to the Kingdom of God.
It WILL lead you and guide you into more and more Truth while exposing the lies we are surrounded with in the church world and the world system.

ALL by the selfsame Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:31
But covet earnestly the best gifts, and yet show I unto you a more excellent way.
1 Corinthians 14:39
Therefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak in tongues.

1GOD: IS Jesus The I AM speaking at the burning bush?

 

Was Jesus the "I AM" at the burning bush?

Who  spoke to Moses in Exodus at the encounter with Moses and God at the famous "burning bush incident?
Does Jesus tell us who Moses spoke to in Exodus 3?

Exo 3:2  And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush.

Exo 3:13  Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”  And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”

Jesus told them:
 Luke 20:37 Now that the dead are raised,
even Moses showed at the bush when he called  the Lord
the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.’

   For HE is not a God of the dead, but of the living, for all live unto 👉Him👈.”

And so the "I AM" error on John 8:58 is settled by Jesus.

because of the One at the burning bush:

 "GOD", THE LORD", "HE" and "HIM" is not Jesus saying "ME"

The LORD told Moses in Exodus 3:14 tell them that I AM THAT I AM has sent you.
Jesus was not The LORD.

Here is Jesus saying "I AM.."
John 8:40 I AM A MAN who told you the truth which I heard FROM GOD"

just like Moses heard from God.

Where the Carcass is, there will the Eagles Be Gathered"

Having read many times the mysterious words of Jesus and trying to make sense of them with various scenarios, I admitted not being sure even when some "interpretations" seemed plausible. 

The "pre-trib" rapure had appeal and there we would go, flying up like eagles while tribulation took place below..

Thanks to God, I will show you exactly who and what this is and how the Scofield-LaHaye-Missler-Left Behind  crowd had it wrong.

Jesus was speaking to His disciples about the end time events after they asked about "when shall these be?" in regard to the destruction and desolation of Jerusalem. He replied:

Mark 13:14  “But when you shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,  standing where it ought not be” (let him that reads understand), “then let them that be in Judea flee to the mountains.

And to to be clear, here is the prophecy Jesus referred to in Daniel 9:26-27

 "after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for Himself;
and the people of the prince who shall come
shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.

And the end thereof shall be with a flood, and until the end of the war  *desolations are determined.

*“desolation(s)”:  to be desolated, be deflowered, be deserted, be appalled, be stunned,

appalling, causing horror, horror-causer, ruined)

Daniel 9:27 Is the verse mis-understood and wrongly used by the pre-trib people: 

Then he  <Messiah the Prince>

shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;

But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.

When Messiah came, there was a confirmed Covenant along with the promise and prophecy’s)  with the Jews/Israel for 7 years.

When Messiah was "cut off" (killed),  the sacrifice of himself, ended the efficacy of the Jews sacrifices and offerings in the temple sanctuary in the city of Jerusalem. Because by one offering (Christ's blood and body) he forever sanctified those that believed.

-Then followed the NEW "covenant" which was confirmed in Acts 2 as Jesus poured out the Holy Spirit upon His disciples.

The renowned 70th week:
With this view we see and  consider His 3.5 year ministry, death on the cross, and the 3.5 years after His resurrection through Acts 9 where "many" were saved.

"And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate"
Even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate."

The “consummation” was the end of Israel as the kingdom-nation of God, the Old Testament contract, and the prophecy's to Israel as a Covenant people, i.e. collectively known as the Jews and Israel. 

How was Israel "consumed"?

The nation, city, and temple were made “desolate”, laid waste, ruined, became a horror, in a stunning flood of Roman destruction under the authority of Prince Titus.

“on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate” amazingly, - the Roman army standard was a brass eagle, wings outspread. -The eagle was mentioned in Moses' Law as an unclean bird, Lev. 11:13 and God labeled the eagle in the scripture, as an abomination. With the power and authority of the Roman  “eagle” came, Prince Titus and destroyed the sanctuary and the city of Jerusalem in 70AD.   Now look at what Jesus said as it all comes to Light! Mt. 24:28 For wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together. The “carcass” was the dead body of Israel where the Roman eagles (the image on their standards) were gathered making Israel desolate.

 

Shall we confirm?  Leviticus 11:13  

BTW, 11 symbolizes  “disorder and judgement” * page 96, Biblical Mathematics, Ed Vallowe 1992
13 symbolizes rebellion and depravity.)

‘And these are they which ye shall hold in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the osprey,

Again amazing thing was prophesied:
Hosea 8:1 “Put the trumpet to your lips!

An eagle is over the house of the Lord because the people have broken my covenant and rebelled against my law.

-and so it was, judgement and wrath fell upon them, 66-70Ad

Now do you see how far from truth is the "antichrist" guy in a building making a treaty with Israel and making himself God, and God turning to Jews after rapturing the church which was both "Jew and non-Jew" for 2,000 years?

Deconstructing The common anti christ MYTH.

WHO is the antichrist?
Before showing you from scripture who antichrist is, let me say that you may likely believe there will be a man called "THE Antichrist" come along, and declare himself to be God, in a building over in modern Israel. That is what so many of us have heard taught and looked for to speculate and identify who "he" is.

Surprisingly, the scripture actually tells us already that many "antichrists" need to be considered, since the man who first used the word "antichrist" wrote that antichrist would come, and was "even now" in the midst of the church.

More surprising is the fact that Jesus never mentioned a man called "antichrist", He never spoke of a re-gathered Israel (he actually voided it as "desolate"), He never spoke of another temple building being built. -nor did John in Revelation, nor did Paul in his epistles, nor did the writer of Hebrews. Those omissions should give pause to seriously reconsider the pre-mid-post rapture views and a lot of modern church traditions.
So if there are "many antichrists" which one is THE antichrist?

Here is every verse using the word.
1John 2:18 Little children, it is the last hour: and as you heard that antichrist comes, even now have there arisen many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last hour.

1John 2:22 Who is the liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, even he that denies the Father and the Son.

1st John 4:3 and every spirit that confesses not Jesus is not of God: and this is the spirit of the antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it cometh; and now it is in the world already.
2John 1:7 For many deceivers are gone forth into the world, even they that confess not that Jesus Christ comes in the flesh.

Well look here.. WHO is...?
This <the many> is the deceiver and the antichrist. Who?
1John 2:26 These things have I written to you concerning them👈 that would lead you astray.

Oh my, the " many deceivers" are "them" who "lead you astray" ?
If you saw the "not in scripture" list on our site, you begin to get an idea of how much leaven there is in Christianity...

SIX IDENTIFYING "antichrist" CLUES ARE FOUND:
1. "These have I written to you concerning them that would lead you astray.
2. "many false prophets", "he that is in the world"
3. "come in the flesh".
4. "Confess not" which means to not speak the same as that Jesus, <the Jesus as they preached in ACTS. Rather "they" come to you preaching out of the flesh.
5. They have the "spirit of error"
6. and does it get any plainer than John 2:22?
1 John 2:22 (NLT) And who is a liar? Anyone who says that Jesus is not the Christ.

Anyone who denies the Father and the Son is an antichrist. (anyone is a plural company)

1 John 2:22 (NKJV) Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ?
He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son,
Let me say it as:
Who is "THAT Jesus Christ"? It is not "the Apostle's Creed" or a "What We Believe" list, etc.

These are fleshly explanations and definitions and they are words not found in the scriptures themselves.

Anything added to or diminished from God's Word is "leaven".

To "confess" is to speak the same as:
In the Greek word for "confess", "homo-logeo", i.e. "confess" Christ, means to speak the same as, agree, declare the Christ of scripture and not make doctrine from their own formula or explanation.

-the "trinity" being a good example of a term not "homo logeo" in scripture. There are many such terms in the church system on a wide range of precepts.

To DENY IS:
to speak against, disavows, or speak contrary to the Word itself.
You can hear comments like "What Jesus really meant was...", or "that was for them back there. Times have changed", or "that's the way we do it around here", and many other justifications for not accepting what the Word says.

Therefore we have the "MANY deceivers" among us, in our midst, who do not speak the same as the Word and pervert the gospel, who are the "many" Jesus, Peter, and Paul spoke of, who are "antichrist".
Some are merely repeating what they are taught by others.

Usually in this day of prominent professional ministries with large followings, people "feed" on the ideas and teachings without seriously testing them or praying about whether something is correct or not. I think we have all done this in our journey.
-And so the scriptures are fulfilled regarding "many deceivers", "deceiving and being deceived", "many shall follow their pernicious ways and be "made merchandise of". 1 Peter 5 is of note.

Thus are the wolves, deceivers, fake shepherds, hierlings, and false prophets among those who are Christian, and are mostly hidden in the body as Christ. - just as Judas, the first Son of Perdition was also hidden in the midst of the body of Christ among the twelve apostles..

And because they are not yet revealed, they may preach, do signs and miracles, and proclaim Jesus Christ, but they are as Judas who did those very same works,
but was the antichrist hidden in the body of Christ, among the twelve apostles.

As John wrote:
"many deceivers have gone out into the world", and "These things have I written unto you concerning them that would lead you astray"

Matthew 24:5 For *many* shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ;
and shall lead *many* astray.
-and so the deceivers also "confess Christ", not that they claim to BE Christ.

How else would they be hidden?

Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall arise, and shall lead many astray.
Luke 21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not led astray: for many shall come....
*the "many", whose "end is perdition", is the corporate body of antichrist, the “son of perdition”.

Jeremiah 12:10
Many pastors have destroyed My vineyard, they have trodden My portion under foot, they have made My pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.

For many deceivers are gone forth into the world, even they that confess not *that* Jesus Christ ...............cometh in the flesh.
(they that speak not the same as that Jesus Christ)

THIS IS the deceiver and the antichrist: Who? He said the "many".

"THIS is THE antichrist", a body, i.e. a great company of deceivers, just as also the "great harlot", the body of Christ, the bride of Christ, and Israel all are corporate bodies of a multitude of people...

What some believe, erroneously creating from the "constructs" in the Babylonish church system, which
include cherry-picked phrases like "man of sin", "son of perdition", "the Assyrian", the "willful king", "he who sits in the temple of God showing himself that he is God", or "abomination of desolation".

While some of those may have some relevance to being "anti" Jesus Christ, they are mis-applied to the point of common acceptance without better examination and applied to a mythical one man in a building in modern Israel.

Each one of those can and should be examined without the bias of mis-applying them as "The Antichrist".

GOD'S FORM

The “form” of God when spoken of in scripture is not physical, but is spirit with shape and form, according to the prophets who saw Him in visions.

Think in terms of a ghost and or spirits that appear to people, you may have even seen something yourself.
Spirit beings include angels, demons, and other beings that can interface between the spirit realm and our physical dimension.
Numbers 12
And he said, “Hear my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord make myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream. 7 Not so with my servant Moses. He is faithful in all my house. 8 With him I speak mouth to mouth, clearly, not in riddles, and he beholds the form of the Lord.

Ezekiel 8:3  And He put forth the form of a hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the Spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem.

Ezekiel 40:2   In the visions of God He brought me into the land of Israel and set me upon a very high mountain, by which there was, as it were, the form of a city on the south.

Daniel 3:25  He answered and said, “Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Philippians 2:6 Jesus. “who, being IN the form of God,

John 5:37  And the Father that sent me, he has borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his form. : the external or outward appearance, form figure, shape.

Just as God’s VOICE was heard audibly with the ear senses at various times, so was his form <shape, figure, likeness, image> seen  in Spiritual vision.
God’s “form” is a literal visible Presence without beginning and without end, undefined by physical borders, and is within the brilliant and glorious light, to which no natural man can see or approach.

This is what many of the prophets saw.
Isaiah 6: In the year that king Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and his train filled the temple.. (His “train” being the Light, glory, and radiance emanating from and through the form of Him.

He wants us to know Him.

1kings 22:9  And Micaiah said, Therefore hear thou the word of the Lord: >>> I saw The Lord sitting on his throne <<<, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
That gives more perspective.

Ezekiel’s vision and the details give perspective and enhance what he “saw”:
Ezekiel 1:1 and I saw visions of God.....and the hand of THE LORD upon him.

1:26  And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne as the appearance of a sapphire stone;  and upon the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man upon it above.**

26 Now above the expanse that was over their heads there was something resembling a throne, like lapis lazuli in appearance; and on that which resembled a throne, high up, was a figure with the *appearance of a man.  

*sight, phenomenon, spectacle, appearance, vision.

27 Then I noticed from the appearance of His loins and upward something like glowing metal that looked like fire all around within it, and from the appearance of His loins and downward I saw something like fire; and there was a radiance around Him.

28 As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance.

Without making a lengthy post, there is enough here for the reader to see what they all spoke of, both Jesus and the prophets, in reference to the GOD of heaven, the GOD and Father of Jesus Christ who is blessed forever. Invisible to the natural man, yet seen by the spiritual man.

Matthew 5:8  Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
